Hindustan Unilever to Announce Q1FY26 Results on July 31 Amid Analyst Expectations of Subdued Growth
Hindustan Unilever will announce its Q1FY26 financial results on July 31, with an earnings call scheduled at 4 p.m. the same day. Bloomberg estimates project revenue growth of 2.4% to Rs 16,076 crore and net profit increase to Rs 2,608 crore. However, analysts expect subdued performance with Ebitda margins likely to contract or remain flat. Multiple brokerages forecast revenue growth between 3.6-4.3% driven primarily by volume growth rather than price increases, reflecting continued urban demand stress. Rural demand shows resilience with expected stronger momentum. The company's Q4FY25 results showed a 3.4% decline in net profit to Rs 2,475 crore despite 3.5% revenue growth. HUL shares have declined 1.29% over the past five trading sessions and are down 10.09% over the past year, trading at Rs 2,419.80 on the NSE.

However, revenue from operations declined 2.3% to Rs 7,333.67 crore. The company declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.50 per share, requiring a cash outflow of approximately Rs 169.1 crore. EBITDA margin expanded 82 basis points to 28.5% despite higher fixed overheads from four newly commissioned plants in India. Domestic sales volumes fell 7.1% while international markets showed strength with 15.1% volume growth, led by South Africa's 16.1% increase. The company maintained a net debt-free position with free cash of Rs 514.90 crore.
