Punjab National Bank: Reduces Repo-Linked Lending Rate to 8.85%
Punjab National Bank has revised its repo-linked lending rate from 9.10% to 8.85%, effective April 10. This follows the Reserve Bank of India's decision to cut the benchmark lending rate by 25 basis points to 6%. Other banks, including Indian Bank, Bank of India, and UCO Bank, have also reduced their repo-linked lending rates.

Aurobindo Pharma: Subsidiary's Bone Drug Shows Promise in Phase 1 Trial
CuraTeQ Biologics, a subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma, successfully completed Phase 1 study of BP16, a biosimilar to denosumab. The drug showed bioequivalence to the reference product for osteoporosis and cancer-related bone issues. A Phase 3 study is ongoing in the EU, expected to complete by May/June 2025.

NBCC India Ltd. sold 1,185 residential units at Aspire Dream Valley, Phase-III in Greater Noida through an e-auction, generating Rs 1,504.7 crore. The company will receive an additional 1% marketing fee. NBCC also signed an MoU with RailTel Corp. for data-centre projects.
