Ceenik Exports Reports Q1 FY2026 Loss, Schedules AGM for September 2025
Ceenik Exports (India) Limited reported a net loss of Rs. 379.54 lakhs for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to a profit of Rs. 380.51 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The company's total income from operations was negative at Rs. 340.64 lakhs, primarily due to losses in derivative trading business of Rs. 388.27 lakhs, while realty & investments segment generated Rs. 47.63 lakhs. The Board approved the quarterly financial results and scheduled the 31st Annual General Meeting for September 25, 2025, via video conferencing. The company appointed M/s Dilip Swarnkar & Associates as secretarial auditors for FY 2025-26 to 2029-30, subject to shareholder approval. The cut-off date for AGM voting eligibility was set as September 18, 2025. Earnings per share declined to negative Rs. 9.44 from positive Rs. 11.36 in the previous year quarter.

Gold Rises on Weaker Dollar Following Soft US Inflation Data
Gold prices increased 0.1% to $3,347.09 per ounce as the dollar weakened following US inflation data that reinforced expectations for a September interest rate cut. The Consumer Price Index rose 0.2% in July, matching economist expectations but below June's 0.3% increase. Year-over-year CPI climbed 2.7%, slightly below the expected 2.8%. The dollar index fell to 98.02 after dropping 0.5% on Tuesday. Markets are pricing in a 90% probability of a rate cut in September, with at least one additional cut expected by year-end. The US and China extended their tariff truce for another 90 days, which limited gold's gains. Other precious metals showed mixed performance, with silver up 0.1% at $37.92 per ounce, platinum rising 0.2% to $1,338.75, and palladium declining 0.1% to $1,128.15.
