AutoPay for Fund Transfers
Auto transfer funds to Dhan account
RAS is a SEBI-mandated process where unused funds in your trading account are periodically transferred back to your primary bank account. In order to make fund additions after Quarterly Settlement/RAS more seamless, we now allow users to set RAS Autopay.
How does it work?
RAS Autopay allows you to automatically add funds (from your primary bank in which RAS takes place) back to Dhan after every Quarterly Settlement. Please note that although an autopay of Rs upto 1 lac will be set up for this purpose, an amount equal to your settlement amount will only be added back to Dhan. This amount will be added back to your Dhan account on the immediate Sunday after the Quarterly Settlement takes place.
For better understanding, here are the Quarterly Settlement dates for FY 2027:
18 Apr
04 July
17 October
2 Jan
The amount added back depends on both the settlement amount and your bank limit:
If your settlement amount is ₹10,000, the full ₹10,000 will be added back
If your settlement amount is ₹2,00,000, only ₹1,00,000 will be added back as per the Autopay limit
You can set a RAS Autopay from the Autopay section already present on your "Money" page.
Please note: Currently only one RAS Autopay can be set from the primary bank in which RAS happens.
