Questions on your mind? Dont worry we have the answers!
T+5 is a “Pay Later” order type that lets you take short-term positions in select stocks even if you don’t have full funds. You can hold these positions for up to 5 trading days, after which they are automatically sold if not converted or closed.
T+5 is only available on stocks where MTF (Margin Trading Facility) is not offered. The list of eligible stocks is available on this page and may change from time to time. You’ll only see the T+5 option on supported stocks in the order screen.
- If you have full funds - it becomes a delivery trade
- If you have partial funds - part delivery, part T+5 (FIFO basis).
If you don’t add funds or sell the position, it will be automatically sold on the 5th trading day. You’ll also receive reminders before auto-sell.
Yes. You can sell anytime manually before Day 5. The system may also force-sell earlier if your margin coverage drops below required levels (e.g., below 20%)
