DhanHQ API
Access Data and Trading via APIs
No. Expired option data is provided on a rolling basis, and the data continuously adjusts according to the moneyness selected in your request.
For example, if you select ATM:
If the underlying index opens at 25,000, the API will initially provide OHLC data for the 25,000 strike.
If the underlying later moves to 25,100 and that becomes the ATM strike, the API will then provide OHLC data for the 25,100 strike for the corresponding time period.
Therefore, the Rolling Option Data API does not provide OHLC data for one fixed strike throughout the entire trading session when a moneyness-based request is used. Instead, the strike automatically changes based on the selected moneyness and the prevailing underlying price.
