My Ledger
Transactions, MTF funding and more
The Positions tab shows your gross profit or loss based on the difference between your average buy and sell price. It does not include brokerage, taxes, or other charges.
On the other hand, the Ledger shows your net profit or loss, after deducting all applicable charges (like brokerage, STT, exchange fees, SEBI charges, etc.). This is the actual amount credited to your account at the end of the trading day.
Let’s understand this with an example:
You traded and closed your positions during the day. Your Positions tab shows a gross profit of ₹4,250/-. However, when you check the Ledger, you see a credited amount of ₹3,030/-.
Why the difference?
Because approx. ₹1,220/- was deducted as charges, which are applied at the end of the day.
At the end of each trading day, you’ll receive a contract note on your registered email address. This document includes a detailed breakdown of:
-Your trades
-Brokerage
-Taxes and other charges
-Final net profit/loss
📝 Note: To open the contract note file, use your PAN number in uppercase as the password.
