Trader's Diary
Check your profitability streak
Brokerage is charged per executed order, and it reflects in your Trader’s Diary for both open and closed positions. Even if a trade is settled by the exchange (like an ITM option expiry), it still counts toward brokerage—even if it's not visible in the trade history.
Let’s understand with two examples:
🔹 Scenario 1 – Regular Trades
- NIFTY 26 Jun 28000 CALL (1 lot) – Bought & sold
- BANKNIFTY 29 MAY 55000 CALL (3 lots) – Bought
- TCS 29 MAY 3400 CALL (1 lot) – Bought & sold
📌 Total executed orders: 5
💰 Brokerage: ₹20 × 5 = ₹100
You can verify the number of executed trades under the Trade Overview section in the Trader’s Diary.
🔹 Scenario 2 – ITM Option Expiry Settled by Exchange
- Intraday trade in Vodafone Idea – bought & sold 2,000 shares
- Bought 1 lot of NIFTY options (75 qty per lot)
- Held a stock option that expired In-The-Money (ITM) and was auto-settled by the exchange
📌 Brokerage Breakdown:
₹60 for the 3 visible trades
₹20 for the ITM option auto-settled by the exchange (not shown in trade history)
💰 Total Brokerage: ₹80
📩 Note: You can check the detailed brokerage and tax breakdown in your contract note, sent to your registered email after every trading day.
